Abstract：Objective：To observe the curative effect and safety of child- type Kaihoujian spray on herpetic stomatitis in children. Methods：A total of 124 cases of children with herpetic stomatitis who met inclusive criteria were randomly divided into two groups，62 cases in each group. The control group was given antiviral therapy including valacyclovir hydrochloride granules，and the treatment group was given antiviral therapy combined with child-type Kaihoujian spray. The curative effect and safety after treatment were analyzed. Results： The improvement of symptoms and signs of children in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the laboratory indexes in the two groups were improved，and the improvement of the indexes in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05). The total curative effect in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05). Conclusion： The child- type Kaihoujian spray combined with antiviral granules has significant curative effect in treating herpetic stomatitis in children，with high safety.
