Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of integrated Chinese and western medicine nursing on upper gastrointestinal bleeding secondary to cirrhosis. Methods:A total of 128 cases of patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding secondary to cirrhosis were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,64 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given integrated Chinese and western medicine nursing including emotional nursing, point massage, acupuncture and moxibustion as well as bleeding care. Before and after nursing,the scores of Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and 36-Item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36) in the two groups were compared. Results:After nursing,the scores of SDS and SAS in the two groups were decreased,and the scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05); the SF- 36 scores in the two groups were increased; the indexes of body pain, mental health, physiological function, physiological role, social function, emotional role, general health and energy in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Integrated Chinese and western medicine nursing intervening upper gastrointestinal bleeding secondary to cirrhosis can effectively improve bad emotions and quality of life and relieve inflammatory responses.
