Abstract： Objective： To discuss the improvement of holistic nursing with Chinese medicine characteristics combined with rehabilitation training for swallowing function in patients with stroke. Methods：A total of 60 cases of patients with stroke receiving treatment were selected as the clinical study objects，and were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， 30 cases in each group. The control group was given rehabilitation nursing， and the observation group was given holistic nursing with Chinese medicine characteristics combined with rehabilitation training. After nursing， the improvement of swallowing function was compared. Results： After nursing， the scores of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Functional Rating Scale(ALSFRS) and swallowing function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After nursing，the nursing effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Holistic nursing with Chinese medicine characteristics combined with rehabilitation training for patients with stroke can effectively improve swallowing function and rehabilitation.
