Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Xiatai Yimu Yangmo tang combined with mifepristone and misoprostol for missed abortion. Methods：A total of 72 cases of patients with missed abortion were selected and divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method， 36 cases in each group. The control group was treated with mifepristone combined with misoprostol， and the treatment group was additionally given Xiatai Yimu Yangmo tang based on the treatment of the control group. The excretion time of gestational sac，duration of vaginal bleeding，blood loss，the time of restoring menstruation，duration of menstruation and menstrual volume in the two groups were compared. The changes in the levels of serum human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG) before and after treatment in the two groups were observed；the clinical effect in the two groups was evaluated；the incidence of adverse reactions was counted. Results：The excretion time of gestational sac，duration of vaginal bleeding and the time of restoring menstruation in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group(P＜0.05)，the blood loss was less(P＜0.05)，the duration of menstruation was longer(P＜0.05)，and the menstrual volume was more(P＜0.05). After one week of treatment，serum HCG levels in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the decrease in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After two weeks of treatment，serum HCG levels in the two groups were decreased when compared with those after one week of treatment(P＜0.05)，and HCG level in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). The clinical effect in the treatment group was better than that in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). During the treatment， there were no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidences of abnormal liver and kidney function， abnormal coagulation， abnormal electrocardiogram， rash， diarrhea， fatigue， sleepiness， and hyperorexia between the two groups(P＞0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Xiatai Yimu Yangmo tang combined with mifepristone and misoprostol for missed abortion can improve the curative effect and promote the recovery of uterus with good safety.
