Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Zhen'gan Xifeng tang combined with tirofiban for progressive cerebral infarction. Methods: A total of 90 cases of patients with progressive cerebral infarction were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,45 cases in each group. Both groups were given basic treatments such as anti- platelet aggregation, nourishing brain cells,lipid- lowering and stable plaques, and scavenging free radicals;the control group was additionally treated with tirofiban injection, and the observation group was additionally treated with Zhen'gan Xifeng tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 14 days. The clinical effect in the two groups was compared; before and after treatment, the changes in the scores of Chinese medicine syndromes,National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),modified Rankin Scale(mRS),hypersensitive C- reactive protein(hs- CRP), interleukin- 6(IL- 6), platelet aggregation rate(PAgT), and platelet membrane glycoprotein (CD62p) in the two groups were observed. Results:The total effective rate was 93.33% in the observation group and 55.55% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of Chinese medicine syndromes, NHISS and mRS in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of hs-CRP and IL-6 as well as PAgT and CD62p in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P< 0.05),and the decrease in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Zhen'gan Xifeng tang combined with tirofiban for progressive cerebral infarction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, inhibit the release of inflammatory factors and reduce the platelet aggregation.
