Abstract：By searching the related literature on fire needle therapy for acne in the past five years，this paper made a summary from six aspects，namely simple fire needle therapy，fire needle combined with oral administration of Chinese herbal medicine， fire needle combined with Chinese medicine external treatment， fire needle combined with western medicine， fire needle combined with physical therapy， and comprehensive therapy of fire needle. As one of Chinese medicine characteristic therapies，fire needle therapy has achieved good curative effect in the clinical application of acne；the comprehensive therapy which combined with other treatment methods has more significant curative effect，which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
