Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Chinese medicine characteristic nursing in obstetrical nursing. Methods：A total of 96 cases of pregnant women were selected as study objects，and were divided into the routine group and the study group according to the random number table method，48 cases in each group. The routine group was given routine obstetrical nursing，and the study group was given Chinese medicine characteristic nursing. The clinical effect after nursing intervention in the two groups was compared. Results：After nursing intervention，the scores of depression and sleep quality in the study group were lower than those in the routine group(P＜0.05). The excellent and good rate of lactation was 89.58% in the study group and 70.83% in the routine group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The incidence of postpartum complications in the study group was lower than that in the routine group(P＜0.05). The nursing satisfaction was 93.75% in the study group and 75.00% in the routine group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The application of Chinese medicine characteristic nursing has significant clinical effect in obstetrics， which can effectively improve depression，insomnia and other symptoms in puerpera，increase the amount of lactation，and effectively prevent postpartum complications，thus reducing the length of hospital stay and improving nursing satisfaction.
