Effect of Modified Forced Movement Combined with Filiform Fire Needle on Function and Electromyographic F- Wave in Upper Limbs with Hemiplegia in Patients During Convalescence of Ischemic Stroke
paraments of motor function and electromyographic F- wave of upper limbs in patients with upper limbs hemiplegia during convalescence of ischemic stroke. Methods: A total of 50 cases of patients with upper limbs hemiplegia during convalescence of ischemic stroke were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,25 cases in each group. The control group was given the training of modified forced movement, and the observation group was additionally treated with filiform fire needle based on the treatment of the control group. Before and after treatment, the scores of Wolf Motor Function Test(WMFT), Fugl- Meyer Assessment of upper limbs(FMA- upper limbs) and Ashworth muscle tension,as well as conduction velocity and wave characteristic of EMG F- wave of the upper limbs on the affected side were compared between the two groups. Results: Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of WMFT and FMA between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the scores of WMFT and FMA in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the two scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the score of Ashworth muscle tension and the conduction velocity of F- wave in the observation group were decreased when compared with those before treatment;the occurrence rate of F-wave was increased when compared with that before treatment;the improvement of each index in the observation group was better than that in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of modified forced movement combined with filiform fire needle in treating hemiplegia during the convalescence of ischemic stroke,is conductive to promoting the recovery of motor function of upper limbs with hemiplegia, and improving related parameters of muscle tension and electromyographic F-wave.
