Abstract：Objective：To observe the effect of abdominal massage combined with auricular point pressing with beans on unhealthy emotions， quality of life and nursing satisfaction in patients with constipation caused by antipsychotic drugs. Methods：A total of 240 cases of patients with constipation caused by antipsychotic drugs were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，120 cases in each group. The control group was given routine western nursing，and the observation group was additionally treated with abdominal massage combined with auricular point pressing with beans based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effect， scores of Wexner Continence Grading Scale，Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)，Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD) and quality of life，as well as nursing satisfaction in the two groups were compared. Results： The total effective rate was 96.67% in the observation group，higher than that of 89.17% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Before nursing，compared the scores of Wexner，SAS，HAMD and quality of life，there was no significance in the difference between the two groups (P＞0.05). After nursing，the scores of Wexner，SAS and HAMD in the two groups were lower than those before nursing， and the scores of quality of life were higher；in the observation group，the scores of Wexner，SAS and HAMD were lower than those in the control group，and the score of quality of life was higher；differences being significant(P＜0.05). The nursing satisfaction was 95.83% in the observation group， higher than that of 85.83% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of abdominal massage combined with auricular point pressing with beans has good clinical effect for patients with constipation caused by antipsychotic drugs，which can improve defecation，unhealthy emotions，quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
