Abstract:Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of moxibustion combined with emotion intervention in preventing urinary incontinence after patients undergo prostate surgery. Methods: The patients with prostatic hyperplasia who underwent transurethral resection of prostate were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional medicine and emotional intervention after surgery, and the observation group was additionally treated with moxibustion and emotional intervention based on the treatment of the control group. The incidence rate and duration of postoperative urinary incontinence in the two groups were recorded, and the quality of life and satisfaction with medical services in the two groups were evaluated. Results:The incidence of postoperative urinary incontinence was 11.90% in the observation group and 30.95% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the duration of postoperative urinary incontinence in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of behavioral restriction, psychological influence and social disorder in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Nursing satisfaction was 97.62% in the observation group and 88.10% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of moxibustion combined with emotion intervention for patients with prostatic hyperplasia after transurethral resection of prostate, can reduce the incidence of urinary incontinence, accelerate the rehabilitation of patients with urinary incontinence, improve their quality of life, and thus improve the nursing satisfaction.
