Clinical Study on Qingqi Huatan Tang Combined with Routine Therapy for Postoperative Pulmonary Infection in Patients with Hypertensive Intracerebral Hemorrhage
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Qingqi Huatan tang combined with routine therapy for postoperative pulmonary infection(PI) in patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage(HICH) and its effect on prognosis. Methods: A total of 112 cases of patients with PI after operation for HICH were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,56 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine methods, and the observation group was additionally treated with Qingqi Huatan tang based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effect after two weeks of treatment and the Chinese medicine syndrome scores before and after treatment in the two groups were compared; the disappearance time of cough, the remission duration of fever and the grading of activities of daily living(ADL) at discharge were recorded. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate was 91.07% in the observation group, higher than that of 76.79% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the Chinese medicine syndrome score in the two groups were decreased when compared with that before treatment(P<0.05), and the score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the disappearance time of cough and the remission duration of fever in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05). At discharge,ADL grading in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:For patients with PI after operation for HICH,the application of Qingqi Huatan tang can significantly improve the symptoms, shorten the time of cough and the remission duration of fever, with good prognosis.
