Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Fuyanshu capsules combined with levofloxacin tablets for pelvic inflammatory disease(PI). Methods：A total of 80 cases of PI patients were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group，40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with levofloxacin tablets，and the treatment group was additionally treated with Fuyanshu capsules based on the treatment of the control group. After 12- week treatment， clinical effect in the two groups was observed. Changes in Chinese medicine syndrome scores， as well as levels of interleukin- 1β(IL- 1β) and interleukin- 10(IL- 10) in serum before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate was 95.00% in the treatment group， and 80.00% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the scores in the treatment group was lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，levels of IL-1β and IL-10 in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Fuyanshu capsules combined with levofloxacin tablets in the treatment of PI can effectively improve clinical effect，relieve clinical symptoms and improve inflammatory responses.
