Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Yiqi Huayu tang combined with routine rehabilitation training treatment for patients with stroke-induced hemiplegia. Methods ： A total of 72 cases of patients with stroke-induced hemiplegia were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， 36 cases in each group. The control group was given routine rehabilitation training treatment，and the observation group was additionally given Yiqi Huayu tang based on the treatment of the control group. After two-month treatment，clinical effect， Chinese medicine syndrome score，function of upper and lower limbs，motor function，balance function and independent living ability were observed in the two groups. Incidence of adverse reactions during treatment was recorded. Results：The total effective rate was 97.22% in the observation group and 80.56% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜ 0.05). Before treatment， when compared Chinese medicine syndrome scores between the two groups， there was no significance in differences(P＞0.05). After treatment，Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Before treatment，when compared scores of Brunnstrom，Fugl-Meyer，Berg and ADL between the two groups，there was no significance in differences(P＞0.05)；after treatment，the four scores in the two groups were all increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and each score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05). During treatment，there was no obvious adverse reaction in the two groups. Conclusion： In the treatment of stroke-induced hemiplegia，Yiqi Huayu tang combined with routine rehabilitation treatment can enhance curative effect，relieve clinical symptoms，and improve patients' independent living ability and limb function with high safety.
