Abstract： Objective： To observe the application effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing concept combined with Chinese medicine characteristic nursing on perioperative period of senile femoral fracture. Methods：A total of 68 senile patients with femoral fracture undergoing total hip arthroplasty were selected and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method，34 cases in each group. The control group was given routine perioperative nursing，and the study group was additionally given rapid rehabilitation nursing concept and Chinese medicine characteristic nursing based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were given nursing for 10 days. The intraoperative blood loss，postoperative drainage volume and drainage tube removal time in the two groups were compared. The hip joint function in the two groups before and after nursing was evaluated by the Harris hip joint function scale. Results：The intraoperative blood loss and postoperative drainage volume in the study group were significantly less than those in the control group，and the drainage tube removal time in the study group was significantly shorter than that in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). After nursing，the scores of pain，function，deformity and activity and the total score in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of rapid rehabilitation nursing concept combined with Chinese medicine characteristic nursing for perioperative period of senile femoral fracture can reduce the intraoperative blood loss and postoperative drainage volume，and promote the recovery of hip joint function.
