Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Niaoduqing granules on chronic renal failure(CRF) and its effect on calcium and phosphorus metabolism and connective tissue growth factors (CTGF). Methods:A total of 120 patients with CRF were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, 60 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatment, including diet control,acid-base balance correction, water and electrolyte balance; the observation group was additionally treated with Niaoduqing granules based on the treatment of the control group. The changes of kidney function indicators such as serum creatinine(SCr),blood urea nitrogen (BUN),blood phosphorus(P3-),blood calcium(Ca2+),parathyroid hormone(PTH) and CTGF in the two groups were observed and compared after two months of treatment, and the clinical effect and adverse reactions were evaluated. Results:The total effective rate was 80.00% in the observation group and 61.67% in the control group, the difference being significant (P< 0.05). After treatment, the levels of SCr and BUN in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of PTH,CTGF and P3- were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the level of Ca2 + was increased(P<0.05). The levels of PTH,CTGF and P3- in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the level of Ca2+ was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 3.33% in the observation group and 16.67% in the control group, the difference being significant(P< 0.05). Conclusion:Niaoduqing granules has a significant clinical effect on CRF,which can effectively regulate calcium and phosphorus metabolism,CTGF balance, improve kidney function, and is relatively safe.
