Effect of Respiratory Rehabilitation Training Combined with Chinese Medicine Respira⁃ tory Guidance on Lung Function and Motor Function in Patients with Chronic Obstruc⁃ tive Pulmonary Disease
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of the therapy of respiratory rehabilitation training combined with Chinese medicine respiratory guidance on the lung function and motor function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods:A total of 120 COPD patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group by computer,60 cases in each group. The observation group was intervened with the therapy of respiratory rehabilitation training combined with Chinese medicine respiratory guidance based on the treatment of conventional medicine, and the control group was simply given conventional medicine for treatment. Patients in the two groups were evaluated for 6 min walking distance(6MWD),Borg dyspnea score, levels of blood gases(PaCO2 and PaO2),percentage of forced expiratory volume in one second to the predicted value(FEV1% ), percentage of forced vital capacity to the predicted value(FVC% ), and peak expiratory flow(PEF). Results: Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the comparison of 6MWD, Borg scores, levels of PaCO2 and PaO2 between the two groups(t=0.450,0.430,0.143,0.431;P>0.05). After treatment, the 6MWD, Borg scores, levels of PaCO2 and PaO2 were better than those before treatment, and the above indexes in the observation group were superior to those in the control group(t=2.094, 11.258, 6.546, 7.990; P<0.05). The values of FEV1%,FVC% and PEF in the observation group after treatment were all better than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above three values in the observation group after treatment were superior to those in the control group(t=3.336,2.656, 6.200;P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of respiratory rehabilitation training combined with Chinese medicine respiratory guidance can effectively improve the lung function and motor function in COPD patients.
