Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Xiaoxuming tang for postpartum impediment syndrome. Methods： A total of 92 cases of patients with postpartum impediment syndrome and in accordance with inclusion criteria were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method，46 cases in each group. The control group was given external application of indometacin cataplasm， and the observation group was given Xiaoxuming tang. The clinical effect， the scores of quality of life， and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of physical functioning，general health，vitality，social functioning，role emotional and metal health in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.01). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Xiaoxuming tang can effectively enhance the curative effect on postpartum impediment syndrome，and improve quality of life with few adverse reactions. It is a safe and effective treatment method.
