Clinical Study on Modified Chushi Weiling Tang Combined with Moxibustion and Compound Camphor Cream for Eczema of Spleen Deficiency and Dampness Obstruction Type
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of modified Chushi Weiling tang combined with moxibustion and compound camphor cream for eczema of spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction type. Methods:A total of 100 cases of patients with eczema of spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction type included into observation were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into two groups,50 cases in each group. The control group was given oral administration of loratadine tablets and compound glycyrrhizin capsules as well as external application of compound camphor cream;the observation group was given oral administration of modified Chushi Weiling tang combined with external application of moxibustion with moxa cone and compound camphor cream. Both groups were treated for eight courses,seven days being one course. After treatment,the clinical effect and the scores of Dermatology Life Quality Index(DLQI) and Chinese medicine syndromes in the two groups were observed and compared. Results: After treatment, the scores of DLQI and Chinese medicine syndromes in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment,and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.01). The total clinical effective rate was 96.00% in the observation group and 76.00% in the control group,the difference being significant(P< 0.01). Conclusion:Modified Chushi Weiling tang combined with moxibustion and compound camphor cream for eczema of spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction type has definite curative effect,and can improve quality of life and promote the extinction of skin lesions.
