Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Qingli Huazhuo prescription combined with triple therapy for chronic gastritis complicated with helicobacter pylori(Hp) infection. Methods：A total of 60 patients with chronic gastritis complicated with Hp infection were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group， 30 cases in each group. The control group was given triple therapy，and the observation group was additionally given Qingli Huazhuo prescription based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two courses，two weeks being one course. The clinical effect， Hp eradication rate， adverse reactions and recurrence were observed and compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate was 96.7% in the observation group and 76.7% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The Hp eradication rate was 96.7% in the observation group and 70.0% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the symptom scores in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the symptom score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate were respectively 3.4% and 6.7% in the observation group and respectively 17.4% and 16.7% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Qingli Huazhuo prescription combined with triple therapy is better than triple therapy when treating Hp infection，whose incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate is low.
