Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of Chinese medicine emotional nursing combined with personalized music therapy on sleep quality and psychology of ICU patients. Methods:A total of 70 ICU patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, 35 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given Chinese medicine emotional nursing combined with personalized music therapy. The improvement of sleep quality and psychology were compared between the two groups. Results:Before nursing, there was no significant difference in the comparison of the score of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Scale(PSQI) between the two groups (P>0.05). After three days and one week of nursing, the PSQI scores in the two groups were gradually decreased, and the PSQI score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group at the same time point, differences being significant(P<0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference in the comparison of the score of Self- Rating Depression Scale(SDS) and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) between the two groups(P>0.05). After nursing, the SDS and SAS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before nursing, and SDS and SAS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). After nursing, the ICU stay in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the nursing satisfaction score was higher than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The personalized music therapy and Chinese medicine emotional nursing can effectively improve the sleep quality and negative emotions of ICU patients, which has high clinical application value.
