Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of "Three-Six-Nine" traumatology acupuncture technique on acute ankle joint sprain. Methods:A total of 300 patients with acute ankle joint sprain were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, 150 cases in each group. The control group was given medicine combined with POLICE therapy , and the observation group was additionally given "Three- Six- Nine" traumatology acupuncture technique based on the treatment of the control group. Pain degree, swelling classification and ankle joint function were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results: Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the comparison of pain scores between the two groups(P>0.05). The pain scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group immediately, 48 h, one month, two months and three months after treatment(P<0.05). The composition ratio of degree zero and degree one in the swelling classification in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the composition ratio of degree three was lower than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the comparison of Kaikkonen scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05). The Kaikkonen scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group immediately , 48 h , one month , two months and three months after treatment , differences being significant (P < 0.05).
