Effect of Shenfu Injection Combined with Xuebijing Injection on Blood Gas Indicators and Related Stress Hormone Levels in Senile Patients with Severe Pneumonia
Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of Xuebijing combined with Shenfu injection on blood gas indicators and related stress hormone levels in senile patients with severe pneumonia. Methods:A total of 61 cases of patients with severe pneumonia were given retrospective analysis, and were divided into the observation group and the control group according to their different treatment regimens. Both groups were given intravenous injection of Xuebijing injection based on routine treatment, and the observation group was additionally given intravenous injection of Shenfu injection. Both groups were treated for seven days. After seven-day treatment,APACHEⅡ scores and curative effect of Chinese medicine symptoms in the two groups were compared. Before and after treatment , the levels of plasma calcitonin(PCT) , high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),white blood cell(WBC) count, creatinine(Cr),angiotensinⅠ(AngⅠ) and angiotensinⅡ(AngⅡ) in serum,as well as partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2) and oxygenation index(PaO2/ FiO2) in the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the total effective rate was 97.06% in the observation group, significantly higher than that of 81.48% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, APACHE Ⅱ scores, PaCO2 and the levels of PCT,hs-CRP,WBC,Cr,AngⅠ and AngⅡ in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and PaO2 and PaO2/FiO2 were increased(P<0.05);compared with those in the control group,APACHEⅡ score,PaCO2 and the levels of PCT,hs-CRP,WBC,Cr,AngⅠ and AngⅡ in serum in the observation group were lower(P<0.05), and PaO2 and PaO2/FiO2 were higher(P<0.05). Conclusion: Shenfu injection combined with Xuebijing has good clinical effect in senile patients with severe pneumonia, which can inhibit pulmonary infection and stress responses, and improve blood gas indicators.
