Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Bushen Tiaogan tang for early diabetic nephropathy. Methods:A total of 80 cases of patients with early diabetic nephropathy were enrolled into prospective study and divided into the study group and the control group. Both groups were given the same basic treatment. The control group was additionally treated with valsartan,and the study group was additionally treated with the oral administration of Bushen Tiaogan tang based on the treatment of the control group. The treatments lasted for two months. The curative effect was analyzed. Urinary albumin/ urinary creatinine ratio(UACR) and urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER) were determined in the two groups. Contents of fasting blood glucose(FBG),postprandial 2h blood glucose(P2hBG),and hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c) were measured. Results: After treatment,Chinese medicine syndrome score in the study group was lower than that in the control group(t=9.057,P< 0.05). The curative effect in the study group was better than that in the control group(Z=2.421, P<0.05), and the total effective rate was 92.5% in the study group, higher than that of 70.0% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of UACR and UAER between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05). After treatment,UACR and UAER in the two groups were improved when compared with those before treatment,and the two indexes in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P< 0.05). When compared FBG,P2hBG and HbA1c between the two groups before treatment,there was no significance being found in the difference(P>0.05). After treatment,indexes of blood glucose in the two groups were improved when compared with those before treatment,and FBG,P2hBG and HbA1c in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P< 0.05). Conclusion: Bushen Tiaogan tang has a better curative effect in the treatment of patients with early diabetic nephropathy,which can stabilize blood glucose and help recover the glomerular function.
