Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of intervention with nursing of integrated Chinese and western medicine on rehabilitation of patients after surgery of cerebral hemorrhage. Methods:A total of 67 cases of patients who had undergone surgery of cerebral hemorrhage were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group,33 and 34 cases in each group respectively. The control group was given western medicine nursing on the basis of conventional treatment; based on the nursing of the control group, the treatment group was additionally given comprehensive nursing of Chinese medicine, namely emotional nursing, acupuncture, point massage, dietary nursing. Scores of Neurological Functional Deficit Scale(NFDS), Barthel index of Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL), Functional Independence Measure Scale(FIM), Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD), Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA), and World Health Organization Quality of Life- brief version(WHOQOL- BREF) before and after treatment were compared in the two groups. Results:Before treatment, when compared scores of NFDS,Barthel index,FIM,HAMA,and HAMD between the two groups, there was no significance being found in the difference(P>0.05). After treatment, scores of NFDS, HAMA, and HAMD in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores above in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, scores of Barthel index and FIM in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores above in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment, when compared scores of physical health, social relationships, psychological health, and environment in WHOQOL-BREF between the two groups, there was no significance being found in the difference(P>0.05). After treatment, scores of all domains of WHOQOL- BREF in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores above in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The nursing of integrated Chinese and western medicine can effectively improve limb function of patients after surgery of cerebral hemorrhage, enhance their activity of daily living and quality of life, and relieve anxiety and depression after surgery.
