Abstract： This paper introduces Professor ZHU Guangli's clinical experience in treating menopausal hypertension from three aspects：clinical features，treatment and case examples. The main clinical features are attaching great importance to supplementing deficiency as well as caring for the spleen and stomach，both of which pay attention to "treatment from liverkidney deficiency，dual deficiency of yin and yang and deficiency of qi and blood". Ointment formula for treatment should be applied according to the need. When making ointment formula， the selection of substrate and corrigent should be paid attention to.
