Abstract: Objective: To observe the application effect of multi- slice spiral CT portal vein imaging on the diagnosis of Chinese medicine syndrome types of cirrhosis. Methods:A total of 119 with cirrhosis were selected as the research objects, and divided into six Chinese medicine syndrome types: the type of blood stasis blocking collaterals, the type of spleenkidney yang deficiency, the type of liver- kidney yin deficiency, the internal obstruction of water- dampness type, binding constraint of liver qi type and the internal accumulation of damp- heat type. All patients underwent portal vein imaging with multi- slice spiral CT. The diameter of splenic vein and portal vein, the degree of collateral circulation, hepatic artery perfusion, portal vein perfusion and total hepatic perfusion were compared among different Chinese medicine syndrome types of cirrhosis. Results:The diameters of splenic vein and portal vein were broadening in patients of internal accumulation of damp-heat type;compared with the diameters of splenic vein and portal vein in patients of other five syndrome types of cirrhosis, the differences were significant(P<0.05). There were significant broadening in patients of the type of blood stasis blocking collaterals;compared with the diameters of splenic vein and portal vein in patients of other five syndrome types of cirrhosis, the differences were significant(P<0.05). The degree of collateral circulation in patients of internal accumulation of damp- heat type was mainly Degree One, and differences were significant when compared with patients of other five syndrome types of cirrhosis(P<0.05). Patients of the type of spleen- kidney yang deficiency, the type of liver- kidney yin deficiency and the type of blood stasis blocking collaterals showed a significant increase in collateral circulation of Degree Three;compared with the patients of internal accumulation of damp- heat type and binding constraint of liver qi type, the differences were significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Multi- slice spiral CT portal vein imaging can identify the imaging manifestations of various syndrome types of cirrhosis, and provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
