Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Wuling capsules for insomnia of heart-kidney non-interaction type. Methods：A total of 98 cases of patients with insomnia of heart-kidney non-interaction type were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， 49 cases in each group. The control group was treated with estazolam tablets，and the observation group was treated with Wuling capsules. The clinical effect， Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) scores， and the levels of tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF- α)， interleukin- 6 (IL-6)，superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in serum in the two groups were compared. Results：The total effective rate was 91.84% in the observation group， higher than that of 73.47% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， each score in PSQI and the total scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of TNF- α and IL- 6 in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)； the above levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the SOD levels in serum in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment，and the level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05)；the MDA levels in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The application of Wuling capsules has definite curative effect in treating insomnia of heart-kidney non-interaction type，which can improve the sleep quality，inhibit the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in serum，and enhance the antioxidant ability.
