Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Yiwei tang on ectopic pregnancy. Methods：A total of 84 cases of ectopic pregnancy were selected as the research objects and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods， 42 cases in each group. All patients received conventional symptomatic supportive treatment of western medicine，and the observation group was additionally treated with Yiwei tang on the basis of the above treatment. The clinical effect and the change in the level of serum β-human chorionic gonadotophin(β-HCG) in the two groups were compared；the disappearance time of abdominal pain，length of hospital stay，disappearance time of mass，and menstrual recovery time were observed. Results：The total effective rate was 95.2% in the observation group and 81.0% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). There were differences in the comparison of the decrease of the serum β- HCG level after one- week treatment between the two groups(P＜0.05). There were differences in the comparison of disappearance time of abdominal pain，length of hospital stay，menstrual recovery time and disappearance time of mass between the two groups(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Yiwei tang can improve the clinical effect of ectopic pregnancy，significantly reduce the level of serum β-HCG，and accelerate，the disappearance of abdominal pain and mass，and menstruation recovery time.
