Abstract： Defense， qi， nutrient and blood syndrome differentiation is important in differentiating and treating warm disease and pestilence，and blood- activating and stasis- resolving method has been widely used in the differentiation and treatment of acute infectious diseases. Blood- activating and stasis- resolving method can not only be used for nutrient and blood aspect syndromes，but also intervene in the early stage of the warm disease. The timely use of blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicinals based on syndrome differentiation can not only prevent the deterioration of the disease，but also speed up the recovery. The authors summarized the pathological mechanism of blood-activating and stasis-resolving method for warm disease in different stages of defense，qi，nutrient and blood，so as to provide a new idea and theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of warm disease.
