Abstract: Objective: To objectively present the administration experience of WANG Chuijie treating functional dyspepsia(FD) with the method of data mining, so as to guide clinical treatment and provide a reference for the other scholars. Methods:The qi,flavor,and meridian entry of Chinese medicine in 156 inputted prescriptions of WANG Chuijie in the treatment of FD were analyzed by “prescription statistics” of the “statistical statement module” of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(TCMISS) V2.5. The frequency of medicine, composition rules of prescriptions, and new prescriptions were analyzed by the function of “prescription analysis” of the “data analysis system” of the TCMISS. Results:The number of bitter-warm Chinese medicines with the meridian entry of spleen meridian and stomach meridian was the largest. Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae,Radix Aucklandiae,and Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae had a higher frequency. The couplet medicine with the highest frequency was Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae and Radix Aucklandiae. The number of core combinations composed of 3~4 Chinese medicines was 20. There were 10 new prescriptions after screening. Conclusion:In the treatment and prescription of FD,WANG Chuijie always remembers to take care of the spleen and stomach and take regulating qi as the priority, be considerate to patients and modify the prescription if needed, as well as carry out flexible syndrome differentiation to improve the curative effect, which are the three elements of clinical thinking. Meanwhile,he always follows the six principles of prescription,namely not only focusing on the stomach when there is a symptom of the stomach, activating the spleen throughout the whole treatment, paying attention to regulating qi movement, keeping an eye on the heart, associating dissipating and supplementing together to achieve the better effect,and balancing cold and heat.
