Abstract:This paper summarizes and introduces the clinical experience of professor LI Zhengsheng in the treatment of overactive bladder syndrome. Professor LI considers that the pathogenesis of overactive bladder syndrome is deficiencyexcess complex; the location of the disease mainly lies in the kidney and the bladder, closely related to the liver and the spleen, and maybe complicated by pathogenic factors such as dampness heat and blood stasis. In his suggestion, the general principle of treatment is to smooth the liver,fortify the spleen,and tonify the kidney. In this paper,the elaboration spreads out from the following aspects:taking the liver,the spleen,and the kidney as the core of syndrome differentiation; starting from the treatment of the liver and paying attention to regulation of qi throughout the treatment of female patients; taking dampness seriously, and caring for the spleen and the stomach; taking the kidney deficiency as the root, and focusing on the balance of yin and yang;using integrated methods of Chinese medicine and western medicine at the proper time.
