Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of modified Zhibai Dihuang tang combined with femoston for perimenopausal syndrome of liver-kidney yin deficiency type. Methods：A total of 114 cases of patients with perimenopausal syndrome of liver-kidney yin deficiency type were selected and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method，57 cases in each group. The control group was treated with femoston，and the study group was additionally treated with modified Zhibai Dihuang tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 28 days. The levels of estradiol(E2)，follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) and luteinizing hormone(LH) in serum before and after treatment and the clinical effect in the two groups were compared. The adverse reactions were recorded. Results：The clinical effect in the study group was better than that in the control group(Z=2.866，P＜0.05). After treatment， the E2 level in serum in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05)，the levels of FSH and LH in serum were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 7.01% in the study group and 8.76% in the control group，there being no significance in the difference(P＞0.05). Conclusion：Modified Zhibai Dihuang tang combined with femoston for perimenopausal syndrome of liver- kidney yin deficiency type can significantly improve clinical symptoms，and regulate levels of sex hormones with good treatment safety.
