Abstract：Objective：To observe the effect of given conventional therapy and Xuefu Zhuyu tang combined with Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture method on curative effect and quality of life in patients with stroke sequela. Methods ： A total of 110 cases of stroke sequela with deficiency of Qi and Blood stasis were divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method， 55 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Xuefu Zhuyu tang， and the study group was treated with Xuefu Zhuyu tang combined with Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture method. Both groups were treated for one month. The clinical effect and safety in the two groups were compared. Before treatment and after one-month treatment，the changes in hemorrheology，serum inflammatory factors，activities of daily living and quality of life in the two groups were observed. Results：After treatment，the total effective rate was 98.18% in the study group and 85.45% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The indexes of red cell aggregation， plasma viscosity， low- cut viscosity， whole blood high shear viscosity， fibrinogen concentration， hematocrit in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and the above indexes in the study group were lower than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). The levels of TNF- α， IL- 6 in the two groups were decreased and IL-10 were increased when compared with those before treatment，the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in the study group were lower than those in the control group，and the levels of IL-10 was higher，differences being significant(P＜0.05). The Barthel indexes and WHOQOL- BREF scores in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the above two indexes in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05). During treatment， the vital signs in the two groups were normal， the liver and kidney function， blood routine and urine routine in the two groups were normal. Conclusion：Xuefu Zhuyu tang combined with Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture method is effective and safe for patients with stroke sequela. It can effectively improve blood circulation， activities of daily living and quality of life，and reduce inflammatory reaction.
