Abstract: Objective: To study the effect of Huoxue Huayu decoction combined with western medicine on ventricular remodeling of patients with acute myocardial infraction after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). Methods: A total of 80 cases of patients with acute myocardial infraction were selected so as to conduct prospective study, and were divided into the study group and the control group. The control group was given rosuvastatin and benazepril, and the study group was additionally given the oral administration of Huoxue Huayu decoction based on the treatment of the control group. After onemonth treatment, the curative effect was analyzed and the situation of ventricular remodeling was observed. Results:After treatment,Chinese medicine syndrome score was (3.67±0.82) in the study group, lower than that of (5.29±1.31) in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). The grading of the curative effect of Chinese medicine syndrome in the study group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05). The total effective rate was 87.5% in the study group, higher than that of 77.5% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) in the two groups was increased when compared with that before treatment, and left ventricular enddiastolic diameter(LVEDD), left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD), and wall motion score index(WMSI) were decreased(P<0.05). After treatment, LVEF in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and LVEDD, LVESD,and WMSI were lower than those in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of Huoxue Huayu decoction combined with rosuvastatin and benazepril has a better curative effect on patients with acute myocardial infraction after PCI, with a better effect on ventricular remodeling. It conduces to recovery of blood microcirculation.
