Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Chanfuxin granules on blood loss after artificial abortion and its promotion on uterine involution. Methods：A total of 204 participants who underwent artificial abortion were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the simple random number table method，102 cases in each group. The control group was treated with doxycycline and Yimucao capsules，and the observation group was additionally treated with Chanfuxin granules based on the treatment of the control group. Blood loss after artificial abortion， the situation of uterine involution， and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results： When compared with the control group， there were far fewer participants with massive blood loss and more participants with little blood loss in the observation group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). When compared with those in the control group， in the observation group， the duration of postoperative vaginal bleeding and the duration of abdominal pain were significantly shorter，scores of Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) obviously lower，the recovery of menstruation significantly earlier，and the endometrial thickness obviously larger，differences being significant(P＜0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications was 7.84% in the observation group， significantly lower than that of 18.63% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Chanfuxin granules has a significant effect on promoting uterine involution after artificial abortion， which can effectively reduce postoperative blood loss， relieve postoperative abdominal pain and promote the recovery of menstruation and endometrium.
