Abstract: Objective: To observe the application effect of Chinese medicine nursing in conservative treatment of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage in emergency department. Methods: A total of 106 cases of patients who had hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage and received conservative treatment in emergency department were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,53 cases in each group. After the admission to the hospital, the patients were given conservative treatment according to the hospital procedures. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given Chinese medicine nursing measures based on the nursing of the control group. The clinical effect and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Before and after intervention, the volume of intracerebral hematoma and neurological function were detected, and the score of quality of life was evaluated. Results:The curative effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group(Z=1.805,P<0.05). Before intervention, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the volume of intracerebral hematoma between the two groups(P>0.05). After intervention, the volume of intracerebral hematoma in the two groups was decreased when compared with that before intervention(P<0.05),and the volume in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group(P<0.05). Before intervention, when compared scores of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) and Barthel Index between the two groups, there was no significance in the difference(P>0.05). After intervention, scores of NIHSS in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before intervention, and the score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);Barthel Index in the two groups was increased when compared with that before intervention, and the index in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction was 83.02% in the observation group, higher than that of 66.04% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: For patients who received the conservative treatment of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage in emergency department, the intervention of Chinese medicine nursing conduces to reducing the degree of intracerebral hematoma, improving recovery of neurological function and quality of life, and enhancing curative effect and nursing satisfaction.
