Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of high- quality nursing on negative emotions and nursing satisfaction of patients after surgery for aortic dissection. Methods:A total of 96 cases of patients who received surgery for aortic dissection were selected, and were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,48 cases in each group. The control group was given postoperative routine nursing, and the observation group was additionally given the intervention of high-quality nursing based on the nursing of the control group. The status of anxiety and depression before and after intervention was compared between the two groups. Postoperative bed rest time, the hospitalization time, and postoperative complications were counted in the two groups. The nursing satisfaction was compared between the two groups. Results:Before intervention, when compared scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA) and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD) between the two groups, there was no significance being found in the difference(P> 0.05). After intervention, scores of HAMA and HAMD in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before intervention, and the two scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). Postoperative bed rest time and the hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications was 14.58% in the observation group, lower than that of 41.67% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction was 81.25% in the observation group, better than that of 58.33% in the control group, the difference being significant(Z=2.112,P<0.05). Conclusion:For patients after surgery for aortic dissection, the intervention of high- quality nursing conduces to promoting postoperative recovery and improving nursing satisfaction.
