Abstract：Parkinson disease(PD) is a clinically common neurodegenerative disease which seriously endangers the health of middle- aged and elderly people. This paper discusses the origin， pathogenesis， pathology and clinical application of six depressions theory. The authors hold that the liver wind is a sign of the disease，and six depressions are the main pathogenesis of PD. The liver wind will not be subsided if six depressions are not eliminated. Combined with clinical treatment，syndrome differentiation and treatment of PD can be carried out from external wind， liver depression transforming into wind， windphlegm obstruction，static blood generating wind，water flood generating wind，and yin deficiency generating wind，so as to improve the level of syndrome differentiation and treatment of the disease.
