Clinical Study on Hanchuan Zupa Granules Assisting Aerosol Inhalation with Budesonide and Acetylcysteine Solution for Inhalation for Cough Variant Asthma
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Hanchuan Zupa granules assisting aerosol inhalation with budesonide and acetylcysteine solution for inhalation for cough variant asthma(CVA). Methods: A total of 87 cases of CVA patients were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method, 45 and 42 cases in each group respectively. The control group was given aerosol inhalation with budesonide and acetylcysteine solution for inhalation, and the treatment group was additionally treated with Hanchuan Zupa granules based on the treatment of the control group. Chinese medicine syndrome scores, lung function and biochemical indexes before and after treatment as well as the clinical effect in the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate was 95.56% in the treatment group, higher than that of 76.19% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, cough symptom scores, Chinese medicine syndrome scores and the levels of monocyte chemotactic protein 1(MCP1) and macrophage inflammatory protein-1α(MIP-1α) in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of peak expiratory flow(PEF),forced vital capacity(FVC) and forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1) were increased(P<0.05). After treatment, cough symptom score,Chinese medicine syndrome score and the levels of MCP1 and MIP-1α in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the levels of PEF,FVC and FEV1 were higher(P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Hanchuan Zupa granules assisting aerosol inhalation with budesonide and acetylcysteine solution for inhalation for CVA can alleviate clinical symptoms, enhance the curative effect, effectively improve the lung function of patients, and regulate monocyte chemoattractant protein and macrophage inflammatory protein, thus delaying the disease development.
