Abstract：Nephropathy complicated with proteinuria is often lingering and refractory，with low regression rate in short time. Even if the disease disappears，it relapses easily and is intractable，Professor Li Peixu thinks that the important etiology and pathogenesis of nephropathy complicated with proteinuria is that due to the kidney qi block， the kidney fails to store essence，and the important treatment method is to eliminate pathogens and diffuse impediment. Eliminating pathogens and diffusing impediment mainly includes six methods：dispelling wind and venting heat，inducing diuresis to alleviate edema， clearing heat- dampness， clearing heat and detoxicating， warming and resolving cold- dampness， resolving stasis and freeing the collateral vessels. The six treatment methods above respectively include Shenbing Qingtou tang，Shenbing Lishui tang，Shenbing Qingli tang，Shenbing Jiedu tang，Shenbing Wentong tang，and Shenbing Huayu tang.
