Abstract： GAO Ping is skilled in treating malignant tumors and hematological diseases with integrated Chinese and western medicine，with unique methods of diagnosis and treatment of immune thrombocytopenia with integrated Chinese and western medicine. Gao Ping is familiar with classics and adept in summing up previous experience. She holds that heat toxin is the most important factor in immune thrombocytopenia and should be treated by clearing heat and detoxicating；in the middle stage of the disease，it is supposed to nourish yin and clear heat，supplemented by tonifying the spleen；patients with lingering disease should be treated by activating blood and supplementing deficiency.
