Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of electro-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training for pelvic floor dysfunction(PFD) in females. Methods:A total of 96 cases of PFD patients were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,48 cases in each group. The control group was treated with rehabilitation training, and the observation group was additionally treated with electro-acupuncture based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for three months. Before and after treatment, the voltage of pelvic floor muscle, the muscle strengh of pelvic floor muscle, Pelvic Floor Impact Questionnaire- short form 7(PFIQ- 7) scores, Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory- 20(PFDI- 20) scores,Female Sexual Function Index(FSFI) scores, urinary incontinence and urodynamic indexes in the two groups were compared. The treatment satisfaction in the two groups was compared. Results: After treatment, the voltages of muscle fiber at type Ⅰ and Ⅱ in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05);the scores of PFIQ-7 and PFDI-20 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05), the FSFI score was higher(P<0.05). After treatment, the incidence of urinary incontinence was 6.25% in the observation group, lower than that of 22.92% in the control group(P<0.05);the number of urinary incontinence within 24 hours in the observation group was smaller than that in te control group(P<0.05); the maximum urethral pressure(MUP) and maximal urinary flow rate(Qmax) in the observation group were larger than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the urine flow time (VT) was shorter(P<0.05). After treatment, the muscle strength at resting state in the observation group was less than that in the control group(P<0.05),the muscle strengths of fast muscle and slow muscle were larger than those in the control group (P<0.05). The treatment satisfaction was 93.75% in the observation group, higher than that of 79.17% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Electro-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training can improve voltage of pelvic floor muscle, muscle strength of pelvic floor muscle, urodynamic indexes, pelvic floor function, quality of sexual life and treatment satisfaction of PFD patients.
