Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of infantile massage combined with blue light irradiation for newborns with hyperbilirubinemia. Methods: A total of 158 cases of newborns with hyperbilirubinemia were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number tale method,79 cases in each group. The control group was given blue light irradiation combined with routine nursing, and the observation group was additionally given infantile massage based on the treatment of the control group. The curative effect, the regression time of jaundice, the hospitalization time, immune function [levels of helper T cell(CD4 + ) and cytotoxic T lymphocyte(CD8 + )], the level of total bilirubin in serum(TBil), as well as child growth and development were observed and compared between the two groups. Results: The cure rate was 65.82% in the observation group, and 53.16% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). The regression time of jaundice and the hospitalization time in the observation group was earlier than that in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, levels of CD4 + in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the level of CD8 + was decreased(P<0.05); the improvement of the two indexes in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,levels of TBil in serumin the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,milk consumption, sleep time,and body mass index per day in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P< 0.05),and the three indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:In the treatment of newborns with hyperbilirubinemia,the therapy of infantile massage combined with blue light irradiation can effectively reduce the level of TBil in serum, improve immune function, and increase growth and development index of children. Its curative effect is better than that of simple blue light irradiation.
