Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Yudan tang combined with hymecromone tablets for postcholecystectomy syndrome(PCS). Methods： A total of 96 cases of PCS patients were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，48 cases in each group. The control group was treated with hymecromone tablets，and the observation group was treated with hymecromone tablets combined with Yudan tang. Both groups were treated for four weeks. The clinical effect and the incidences of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared. Before and after treatment， the changes in symptom scores， gastrointestinal hormones and biochemical indexes in the two groups were observed. Results：After treatment，the total effective rate was 91.67% in the observation group and 64.58% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of pain，nausea and vomiting，dysorexia and diarrhea after operation in the two groups were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)， and the four scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of CCK and MTL in the two groups were higher than those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the two levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of TBil and DBil in the two groups were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)，and the two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 6.25% in the observation group and 12.50% in the control group，there being no significance in the difference(P＞0.05). Conclusion：Yudan tang combined with hymecromone tablets for PCS can improve clinical symptoms，promote biliary excretion，reduce bile deposition and improve gastrointestinal function.
