Abstract:Objective:To seek the administration rules of Chinese medicine prescription in the treatment of cough during pregnancy based on the data- mining analysis on domestic literature on the diagnosis and treatment of cough during pregnancy in recent 40 years. Methods:Literature about Chinese medicine in the treatment of cough during pregnancy were screened out by searching China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Database,VIP database,China Biology Medicine disc(CBM),and other databases. After data input,the combination and administration rules of prescriptions were analyzed by Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5). Results: A total of 134 prescriptions for cough during pregnancy were screened out and analyzed. Among those prescriptions,the top 10 Chinese medicines with high frequency of use were Radix Platycodonis, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Radix Scutellariae, Semen Armeniacae Amarum, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Radix Ophiopogonis, Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparata cum Melle,Poria,and Radix Paeoniae Alba. There were 10 high-frequency couplet medicinals,1 core combination,and 13 new prescriptions were found out by data mining. Conclusion:The prescriptions of modern doctors for the treatment of cough during pregnancy are mainly in accord with the methods of resolving phlegm and calming panting, clearing heat, relieving the exterior, as well as fortifying the spleen and invigorating qi, which can eliminate the pathogenic factors and prevent abortion at the same time. Most of the commonly-used couplet medicinals and medicine combinations are composed of Jiegeng tang and Erchen tang,which reflects the effectiveness of classical and proven prescriptions.
