Abstract：Objective：To observe the effect of Bushen Jianpi Huoxue prescription combined with Baduanjin on calcium， phosphorus，25-hydroxyvitamin vitamin D[25(OH)D] in serum，and bone mineral density of senile female with osteoporosis. Methods：A total of 86 cases of senile female with osteoporosis were selected，and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， 43 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment and Baduanjin，and the observation group was additionally given Bushen Jianpi Huoxue prescription based on the treatment of the control group. Before and after treatment，the score of Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)，bone mineral density of the femoral neck，lumbar frontal position，and Ward triangle region，serum calcium，serum phosphorus，serum 25(OH)D， the indexes related to bone metabolism， and score of the hip joint function were observed in the two groups. Results：Compared with those before treatment in the same group，scores of VAS，and levels of human tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase-5b(TRAP-5b) and typeⅠcollagen carboxy terminal peptide β-specific sequence(β-CTX) in the two groups were decreased after treatment(P＜0.05)； bone mineral density of the femoral neck， frontal position， and Ward triangle region，levels of serum 25(OH)D and bone specific alkaline phosphatase(BALP)，and scores of Harris and Salvati-Wilso were increased(P＜0.05)； the level of serum bone gla protein(BGP) in the observation group was increased(P＜0.05). After treatment，score of VAS and levels of TRAP- 5b and β- CTX in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)； bone mineral density of the femoral neck， lumbar frontal position， and Ward triangle region， levels of 25(OH)D， BALP， and BGP in serum， and scores of Harris and Salvati- Wilso were higher(P＜0.05). Conclusion： In the treatment of senile female with osteoporosis，the therapy of Bushen Jianpi Huoxue prescription combined with Baduanjin has a good clinical effect， which can significantly relieve pain， improve bone mineral density， increase level of vitamin D， promote bone formation，and enhance the hip function.
