Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Jinlong capsules combined with XELOX chemotherapy regimen for gastric cancer and its effect on the quality of life and cellular immune function. Methods：A total of 93 cases of patients with gastric cancer were selected and divided into the control group and the combination group according to the random number table method， 46 and 47 cases in each group respectively. The control group was treated with XELOX chemotherapy regimen， and the observation group was additionally treated with Jinlong capsules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two to four chemotherapy cycles. The clinical effects in the two groups were compared； the changes of Karnofsky scores(KPS scores) and cellular immune function including T lymphocyte subsets CD3+，CD4+ and CD4 +/CD8 + as well as the incidences of adverse reactions were observed before and after treatment. Results： After treatment， the total effective rate was 59.57% in the combination group and 39.13% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，KPS scores in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment，and the score in the combination group was higher than that in the control group，differences being significant(P＜ 0.05). After treatment，the indexes of CD3+，CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the combination group were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above indexes in the control group were decreased(P＜0.05)；the above three indexes in the combination group were higher than those in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， the incidences of gastrointestinal reactions， leukopenia， thrombocytopenia， alopecia and anemia in the combination group were lower than those in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Jinlong capsules combined with XELOX chemotherapy regimen for gastric cancer has a higher clinical effect than simple XELOX chemotherapy，which can improve the quality of life of patients and enhance the immune function with higher medication safety.
