Clinical Study on Heat-Sensitive Moxibustion Combined with Chinese Medicine Point Application for Primary Dyspenorrhea of Cold Congealing and Blood Stasis Type
Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with Chinese medicine point application on primary dyspenorrhea of cold congealing and blood stasis type. Methods:A total of 93 patients with primary dyspenorrhea of cold congealing and blood stasis type were selected as the research objects and divided into the study group and the control group by random number table method. Both groups were treated with Chinese medicine point application, and the study group additionally received heat-sensitive moxibustion on this basis. One course of treatment was from one week before menstruation to three days after menstruation, and patients in both groups were treated for three courses continuously. The clinical effect in the two groups was compared, the levels of prostaglandin E2(PGE2), prostaglandin F2α(PGF2α) and β- endorphin(β- EP) in serum in the two groups before and after treatment were observed, and the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment was compared. Results: After treatment, the Chinese medicine syndrome scores of the symptoms in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the total effective rate of clinical effect was 97.87% in the study group and 84.78% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of PGE2 and β-EP in serum in both groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the level of PGF2 was decreased(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of PGE2 and β- EP in serum in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the level of PGF2α in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). During the treatment,no large area of skin redness, itching, blisters and other adverse reactions occurred in both groups, and the safety was good. Conclusion:The therapy of heatsensitive moxibustion combined with Chinese medicine point application in the treatment of primary dyspenorrhea of cold congealing and blood stasis type can effectively relieve dyspenorrhea symptoms and improve the content of uterine endocrine hormone, with high safety.
