Abstract：Objective：To systematically sort out the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine classic dampness removing prescription and explore the law of its prescription. Methods：According to the Science of TCM Prescriptions，TCM dampness removing method can be divided into five categories： dry dampness and harmonize the stomach，clearing heat and dampness，clearing damp and promoting diuresis，warming cold-damp and eliminating wind and surpassing dampness. The eliminating dampness method can be subdivided into relieving exterior and eliminating dampness， clearing heat and eliminating dampness，detoxification and eliminating dampness. Dryness and dampness method is subdivided into bitter cold dryness and dampness and bitter temperature dryness and dampness. The method of diuresis is subdivided into light infiltration and diuresis， warming yang and diuresis， nourishing yin and diuresis， clearing heat and diuresis and warming kidney and water. It is subdivided into dispelling wind and promoting blood circulation. Based on the legal formula， the catalogue of ancient classic famous prescriptions(the first batch)，the Science of TCM Prescriptions and the Chinese Medical Code were searched respectively， and the dehumidification prescription was retrieved. Then， taking the name of the prescription as the search term，the three Chinese Journal Databases of CNKI，Wanfang and VIP were searched，and the literature using the prescription was selected for analysis. Results： A total of 71 classic antidampness prescriptions were retrieved， which came from 38 classics of traditional Chinese medicine and included 456 modern literatures. A total of 282 diseases were involved. A total of 122 species of traditional Chinese medicines were used，and the total frequency of drug use was 3 783 times. Conclusion： Combing the classic dampness removing prescription， clarifying its source and syndrome treatment， understanding its modern clinical application， and mastering the formula structure of the classic dampness removing prescription can fully excavate the modern application of the classic dampness removing prescription for clarifying the etiology，syndrome and treatment of dampness disease or dampness syndrome.
