Abstract:Objective:Based on big data mining,the administration rules of ancient prescriptions for epigastric pain were studied to provide directions and references for its modern clinical application and new drug development. Methods: All ancient prescriptions for epigastric pain in books of Chinese medicine prescriptions, comprehensive medicine and various clinical disciplines in Chinese Medical Classic were collected, and descriptive statistics, association rules analysis, and hierarchical cluster analysis were performed on the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system(V2.5) for the study of the core administration and prescription rules of ancient prescriptions for epigastric pain. Results: A total of 226 ancient prescriptions for epigastric pain were included, involving 141 kinds of Chinese herbs; Chinese medicine with warm nature accounts for the most,followed by neutral medicine and cold medicine;deficiency- supplementing medicine and qi- regulating medicine take the majority, followed by phlegm- dampness- resolving medicine, interior- warming medicine, blood- activating and stasis- resolving medicine, and dampness- draining diuretic medicine; the flavor of medicine is mainly pungency,followed by bitterness and sweetness;the main meridian entries of medicine are the spleen meridian and the stomach meridian; commonly used medicines are Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Rhizoma Zingiberis, Rhizoma Pinelliae, Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, Fructus Amomi and so on; 22 core combinations and 16 groups of administration rules were extracted, and 10 new prescriptions for epigastric pain were obtained. Conclusion: Different from the methods of soothing liver and resolving constraint, clearing heat and dispelling dampness,and fortifying spleen and replenishing qi for epigastric pain nowadays,ancient prescriptions pay more attention to warming and activating the spleen so as to harmonize the stomach.
